Farway Airfield
Farway Common Airfield is a privately owned airfield situated near Sidbury in East Devon, England. Established in 1984, it has served as a hub for general aviation enthusiasts and pilots seeking a scenic and welcoming flying environment. The airfield features two grass runways, each approximately 550 meters in length. Farway Common Beyond aviation, the airfield contributes to local biodiversity. The surrounding land, encompassing approximately 12 hectares of unimproved grassland, has been managed as a hay meadow for over 50 years.
